By train

From Guangzhounan Railway Station to Qingdao Railway Station

There’re 6 railway station in Guangzhou City, but only two of them can get to Qingdao City, however the slow one takes 31 hours from Guangzhou to Qingdao, considering every minutes counts for a traveller so we’ll not talk about this way, then we only have one place of departure- Guangzhounan Railway Station, this station have all high-speed trains to other city so this railway station is very important.

So please take in mind that our departure site is: GUANGZHOUNAN RAILWAY STATION, our destination is QINGDAO RAILWAY STATION.

It takes around 13 hours, the cheapest seat cost $160 and business class cost around $500. Then there comes the next question: How to get Guangzhounan Railway station from Guangzhou Baiyun International Airport?

It’s very simple as well, take Metro way Line 3 until Jiahewanggang Station and then transfer Metro way Line 2, you can get Guangzhounan Station directly, the whole process take around 1 our and cost ￥10.

By long-distance Bus

It’s not recommended to take a long-distance Bus because it’s around 2000 km from Guangzhou to Qingdao, long time and no direct bus, you need transfer at another city and there’s only one bus every other day! Never take this way unless you know China very well or someone takes you together, it’s not friendly to foreigners.

2.By train

To take a train to Qindao City you need start from Shanghai Hongqiao Railway Station to Qingdaoxi Railway Station or Qingdaobei Railway Station, it’ll take around 4-6 hours and both destination Stations in Qingdao are okay, if you’d like to see the seascape in Qingdao City, it’s recommend to take Qingdaoxi Railway Station as your destination because it takes five minutes’ walk to the beach, Because it is a scenic spot, so the surrounding accommodation and meals are a little bit more expensive than Qingdaobei Railway Station.

 

①    From Pudong Airport to Hongqiao Railway Station there are several ways:

②    Subway line 2 directly to Hongqiao railway station;

③    take the maglev to Longyang Road station and then transfer to subway line 2;

④take a Taxi and show the driver 我要去上海虹桥火车站 （ In English it means :“I want to go to Shanghai Hongqiao railway station”）, this is convenient but will be a little expensive as well.

3.By long-distance Bus

This is the least recommended route because it’ll take 14 hours and you cannot find an English version website and you may failed to find someone in the station can speak English ! I believe no foreigners will take this way after a long flight. Unless you have a Chines friend come with you, never try this way even it costs only around $30.
