As talked with customers, I found that
many Lashes Suppliers do not use primers at all,
or use them in the wrong steps or sequence.
There have also been
eyelash artists with me put forward this view: for customers who do not need to
remove and directly grafted eyelashes, they do not use pretreatment solution,
only use normal saline wipe, and it will not affect the firmness. Therefore,
the customer does not need to use the pretreatment solution in the future
operation. Of course, this view and practice is also wrong.
In the process of first
removing and then grafting, eyelash artists encounter such a problem: after
removing the customer's eyelashes as a whole and grafting them again, they will
find that the speed of glue curing will be slow.
What is the reason?
Because discharge cream
will have residual moisture to go up in eyelash .However, this moisture is not
that water, the water is covered by three kinds of esters: but lactone, propyl
carbonate and ethanol, which will slow down the polymerization reaction of the
glue, resulting in a slower curing speed.
So, how do you get rid of these
residues thoroughly?
Yes it’s to use
pretreatment solution. Pretreatment solution is chosen because of its
ingredients containing water, alcohol, and some healing and soothing extracts.
This relatively mild pretreatment solution has the function of denaturing the
protein on the eyelashes, removing residual esters, and ensuring the same
curing speed of the glue.
However, some pretreatment
solution will add isopropyl alcohol, not safe, but there will also be lash
artist think it’s okay as long as it shows well. But pretreatment solution
containing isopropyl alcohol is not recommended, safety is always the most
important. Our glue primer uses the best materials
and always put safety in priority.
Also some lash artists
don’t know the correct steps to clean eyelashes after the removal of previous
lash extensions, so we list the procedures below:
Step 1: Dry rub with
inclined cotton swab
Step 2: Wet rubbing with
delicate water (sterilized saline) + inclined cotton swab
Step 3: Wipe 2 times with
pre-treatment solution + inclined cotton swab
Step 4: Use 2 inclined
cotton swabs to dry rub again
Step 5: Begin grafting
"With the
pre-treatment solution, the purpose of the solution appears to be to clean the
lashes, but in fact it is to completely remove the residue that has been
removed as a whole, to ensure that the normal curing rate of the glue is
maintained when the lashes are grafted behind.
Be sure to practice the five
steps provided by Our Lash and use it in your work,
you’ll benefit.
