Design: We should make the design according to customers' own conditions and needs. When customers hesitate to choose the style they want, we can judge rationally and give them appropriate suggestions according to specific circumstances instead of allowing customers to blindly pursue long, dense and warped.

Cleaning: If the customer comes with eye makeup, it is necessary to remove the customer's makeup first, pay attention to the use of oil-free makeup remover products, such as makeup remover/cotton pads. After removing customer’s makeup, start cleaning lashes. When cleaning, dampen a cotton pad with eyelash cleanser and gently wipe oil and dust from the roots of lashes and skin.

Disinfection: Before formal operation, lash technicians should first disinfect hands with professional hand disinfectant, and then disinfect tools. During the disinfection process lash technician should let customer know so customers will feel you’re professional instead of getting tired of waiting.

Grafting: 1) Take proper amounts of glues are critical. If not enough areas contact with glues, easy to mess; if less glues, easy to crisp and short maintenance time;

2) Attach to proper position is also very important. If the connection is crooked, the finished set will be ugly; if the roots stick up, lash extensions will fall off fast and uncomfortable.

3) The false eyelashes should be adhered at a position 0.5-1mm away from the heel (ensure no contact with the customer's skin, and clean the root of the eyelashes by sliding and micro-washing cotton swab).

Glue action: Don’t slide back and forth too much; apply glues evenly so that the effect is more lasting.

After-care details had been mentioned in many of our lash’s articles, it’s as important as the choice of eyelash technicians. So the details are listed again here so that lash technicians can reminder customers again and again.

1. Do not touch water within 4-6 hours after grafting

2. Avoid high-temperature environment/oily cosmetics, and avoid using mascara. Most mascara contains oily ingredients, which will indirectly affect the adhesion of glue.

3. Avoid swimming within 3-5 days, running or do strenuous exercise, glue encountered more than 40 degrees will be easy to harden or brittle, resulting in rapid separation and fall off of true and false eyelashes.

4. Teach customers to use "styling liquid" products every morning before makeup or going out, waterproof and oil-proof, effectively maintain the durability and shape of false eyelashes.

5. Avoid rubbing eyes to avoid the damage of the true lashes fracture. When washing face and removing makeup, please clean around the eyes with fingertips and finger abdomen.

6. As hair has a fixed growth cycle, eyelash extensions falling off is normal, so it is normal to lose less than 10 eyelashes in both eyes every day, and there will be relatively small eyelashes growing out, so inform this to customers in advance to let them do not worry too much.

1.       Itching

Reason 1-The lash adhesive was applied to the root of the natural lashes.

Solution: Remove the improper attached lashes one by one. To avoid this make sure the lash extensions are attached properly to natural lashes.

Reason 2-Didn’t clean well before grafting.

Solution: If the itching was caused by cleaning problems, we have to remove all lashes. So make sure to clean natural lashes thoroughly, this is very important.

Reason 3-Customer is allergic to the eye patches or the tapes.

Solution: Be sure to communicate with the client about her allergies history before grafting, if any customers are sensitive we should convince the customer not to do eyelash extensions.

 

2.      Pain

Reason 1-The lash extension are attached too close to natural lashes; or the lash extensions are not attached well so the root crossed up.

Solution: Remove the lash extensions that not grafted well. Pay more attention when grafting, leave 0.5mm-1mm apart from the root of natural lashes and attach carefully especially in the root position.

Reason 2-The eye patches are applied too close to eyes.

Solution: Adjust the position of eye patches and ask customer if the location of the patch is suitable and comfortable.

 

3.      Watery eyes

Reason 1-Sensitive eyes

Solution: Ask about the customer's allergy history, and discourage allergic customers.

Reason 2-The eye patches are applied too high to the eyes.

Solution: Remove the patches and apply a new one in proper position.

Reason 3-Irritation of lash adhesive

Solution: Try to change a different lash adhesive, and pay more attention to take proper amount of lash adhesives each time.

 

4.     Tightness

Reason 1-several lash and lash extensions are attached together.

Reason 2-Lash extensions are attached to eyelids instead of natural lashes.

Reason 3-The little fluff are messed with lashes.

5.      Red eyes

Reason 4-Lash adhesive not dry through

Solution: Blow the glues dry to see if it’s getting better. Sometimes within 30 minutes when the glues are not dry totally, the irritation of glue may cause tearing and red eyes.
